How Not To Write About Female Musicians

I could go on for a very, very long time about how much this article resonates with me, how much I loathe what has been written about Lana Del Rey (and while we are at it, Taylor Swift) as of late.

I am also reminded of all that has been written about Courtney Love as scandalous/shameful, when one would never point such things out about other rock stars such as Mick Jagger, Steven Tyler, or even the late Kurt Cobain.
